Pomegranate is known as a miracle fruit and we all know the benefits of pomegranates to our health. We all know that pomegranates are:
-full of antioxidants.
-it prevents the formation of dangerous blood clots formation.
-keep “bad” cholesterol at bay.
-neutralize the effect of free radicals to your body.
-increases your heart’s oxygen levels.
-reduces arthritis inflammation.
-lower risk of heart disease, diabetes and cancer
-fight cell damage
-rich source of various vitamins like A,C,E and folic acid.
These are just some of the pomegranate’s health benefits. You can of course consume it fresh, cooked or as juice. However, if you want to consume the pomegranate arils fresh, you might want to use some gloves while peeling the fruit. It tends to stain your fingers and hands. ^^)
Here is how we like to consume pomegranates in my household.

You will need:
Open the pomegranate and take out the arils.
Pour in the brandy and add a couple of spoonfuls of brown sugar.
Mix and enjoy! Yum!
How do you like your pomegranates? Cooked? Added to your salad? I would love to know!
